Junior League round 2.--What an early evening 2nd round result!

With several swimmers on holiday Halstead produced some incredible results. Unofficially 2nd on the night, according to how the other venue results go then we could be heading for the "A" final. Until i get the official results i can't give a detailed run down on each swimmer, except to say each and everyone of you can be very proud of your performance today. The 9 and 10 year olds (boys and girls) were almost un...beatable and each relay either pushed the opposition hard or came out victorious in all ages. I have let it be known that, as a small club we find it very difficult to field a strong team during holiday periods and maybe more thought should go into planning these events. That said everyone that filled in can be very happy with their swimming and it now puts extra pressure on everyone to keep performing to their max. I will mention Liam Haylock and Monty Oliff fry, although they were both way under age, The league, knowing the date of the gala was difficult to fill relays, allowed all clubs to put any swimmers in to fill up the lanes. These 2 boys swam as though they had been doing it for years, great prospects and well done lads.
