Swimmers compete at London Aquatic Centre

Swimmers travel to the LOndon Aquatic Centre to compete at the second round of the Essex Age group Championships.  The Aquatic Centre certainly provides an atmosphere for the event; this 50m round of the competition provided lots of excitement.  The 9/10 relay teams swam exceptionally well and for some members of the team it was their first official competition.

49 Members competed and for some it was their first experience to compete in a 50m pool.  POdium finishes were achieved by Rebecca Neale 10th in the 18 over 50 fly, Ole mills 9th in the 18 over 50 breast. Elliot Swallow 3rd medal placing in the 50m breast in the 17 year old age group.  Lewis Craig 9th in the 17 year old 50m breast. Eloise Conway 9th in the 17 year old 50 back, Jodie Root 10th in the 16 year old back.  Elliot Swallow 9th in the 17 year old 50m fly, Sasha Hutchison 4th in the 17 year old 50m breast, Elliot Swallow 9th in the 17 year old backstroke.


Ole Mills made the Championship final in the 50 breaststroke finishing 8th fastest in the County.
