For those of you that are new to swimming or this is your swimmers first opportunity to qualify at county standard.....please read on!

To qualify to compete at county level is a significant achievement.

Qualifying table relating to age/event can be downloaded here.

The age of your child is their age @ 31st December 2019.

Times must be achieved at a licensed open meet. Club champs are licensed so times can be achieved here.

We will also be supporting two open meets in the lead up to the closing date.

As of next year the relay events for 11/12, bagcats and youths will be incorporated into the Winter CHamps.

The 9/10 Relays will remain at the LAC block of counties in February.

Many thanks to all those that trialed for the relay events.  Coach selection was based on swim performance at trial.

Reserves have been selected can we please ask that you keep the event dates free in case of sickness etc.....

Remember these are 50m events.........so you younger swimmers don't be surprised when you see a long pool.

We will try and schedule some relay practice in the new year on a Sunday eve at 7pm will we advise you of dates in the New Year.

If you have been selected and are unable to make the event please contact Donna ASAP if we have not heard from you by the end of the year we will assume your commitment.

Provisional Results.

Excellent performance from Halstead's County qualifiers.  Achievements range from Medal placings, Final placings, Club Records & personal bests.

Club Records were broken by Isobel Bettley in the 10U catogery in 200 Fly, 200 IM, 100 IM and 200 Backt and Alexa Cox broke the open 50 and 100m fly record.

Final placings were achieved by COX, SWALLOW, BETTLEY,BARROW,POTTER & ADAMS.

Please confirm your availability @  the pool no later than Friday 24th May.

Each team will compete in the Freestyle and Medley Relay.

Competing teams will be confirmed once swimmer availability has been confirmed.
